NNY Info is opening a Trophy Wall for the 2026 big game season — a place for North Country hunters to share their deer and bear harvests from across Northern New York — Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence & Oswego Counties.
Tagged a buck during bow season? Took a bear during the early season? Regular firearms season opens Saturday, October 24, and the wall is open now. If you took it this fall, we want to see it.
Every entry gets its own post on the wall, with your photo and your account of the hunt — whether that’s a full story or a single line.
What to send
Email your photo to nnyinfo.com@gmail.com with:
- Your name — tell us how you want it shown. If you don’t say, we’ll use your first initial and last name.
- The town where you harvested it — town only (see the ground rules below).
- What you took — deer or bear; buck or doe; points and weight if you know them. All details are published as hunter-reported.
- When you took it, and who you were hunting with, if you’d like them named.
- Your story — as much or as little as you want. One line is fine, in this form: “[Name] harvested this 150 lb. 6-point on opening morning while hunting with his son in the Town of LeRay.”
We’ll email you the link when your entry is posted.
A few ground rules
- Emailing us a photo gives NNY Info permission to publish it on nnyinfo.com and on the NNY Info Facebook Page.
- Town only, never the exact spot. No property, road, or stand locations — your hunting spot stays yours.
- Clean photos only, please — no graphic or bloody images, so everyone can comfortably share the posts.
- For hunters under 18, a parent or guardian needs to send the photo or tell us it’s OK to publish it.
- Harvests should be legally taken and tagged during the 2026 season.
- Entries are posted in batches a few times a week, not the moment they arrive — especially during busy weekends.
