Overnight winter parking bans return across the North Country every fall — and the ticket-or-tow stakes are real. This page collects the official rules community by community: ban dates, restricted hours, and what happens if you park anyway.
A note on freshness: only Fort Drum has published season-dated 2026–27 rules so far. Everywhere else, the rules below come from standing municipal code (verified current as of October 2026) — they apply this winter unless the community amends them. We’re adding communities as they publish their seasonal notices. Last checked: October 9, 2026.
