12th Annual Scarecrow Scuttle 5K/10K & Family Fun Run

Lace up your running shoes for the 12th Annual Scarecrow Scuttle at Old McDonald’s Farm — a 5K, 10K and untimed Family Fun Run/Walk that supports people with developmental disabilities in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties. Now in its 12th year, this charity race pairs fall scenery with a great cause.

The race is Saturday, October 24: check-in runs 8:45–9:45 AM and the race begins at 10 AM. Registration is $50 per person for the 5K and 10K ($60 on race day, includes a t-shirt and medal for those registered by Oct 2; both races timed by Elitefeats). The untimed Family Fun Run/Walk is $10 per adult, $5 per child ages 4–12, and free for kids 3 and under — registered children also receive a free same-day pass to Old McDonald’s Farm.

Making a fall day of it? Our October events roundup has more going on this month, and the Jefferson County hub has more to explore in the area.
