Gouverneur Pumpkin Festival
September 19 @ 10:00 am - September 20 @ 4:00 pm
Two days at the fairgrounds, presented by the Gouverneur & St. Lawrence County Fair in conjunction with the Gouverneur Chamber of Commerce.
Saturday, September 19 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM):
- Craft show (10 AM – 4 PM)
- Children’s activities provided by the Gouverneur Rec Center
- Free cow train rides (children only)
- Bounce houses, games, and fair food
Sunday, September 20 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM):
- Craft show (10 AM – 4 PM)
- Cruise-In classic car show (1 PM – 3 PM)
- Giant pumpkin award ceremony (2 PM)
- The Giant Pumpkin Drop (4 PM) – tickets $5; watch Facebook for pre-festival ticket sale locations
- Draft horse wagon rides
- Free cow train rides (children only)
Giant pumpkin weight contests: bring your pumpkins any time Saturday before 4:00 PM, or before 10:00 AM on Sunday. Winners announced at the Sunday 2:00 PM award ceremony. Senior division prizes: $200 / $100 / $50. Junior division prizes: $50 / $25 / $10.
