Stories in Stone Cemetery Tour

Explore local history among the headstones on the second annual Stories in Stone Cemetery Tour — a guided 90-minute walk through Sackets Harbor’s village cemeteries, where guides share the stories of the people who shaped the community. It’s a fascinating outing for history buffs and a perfect seasonal fit for October.

The tour is Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, meeting at the corner of Dodge Avenue and Ogden Lane. Tickets are $5 per person and limited to 20 people, so reserve ahead through the Historical Society’s site; proceeds benefit the Historical Society’s preservation efforts and educational programming. The tour goes rain or shine.
